Deceiving your mind daily
I selected this artwork to redo because I thought that it could look a lot better than it was. I thought that is i added color and focused on the shape of the beak and body more that it would look better. I think that I have grown in art class by adding good color contrast and how to make the art piece pop. I do not think that i have become more skilled at at art, however i think i have learned techniques that have made my art looking better.
This art by Danielle Clough is showing the human experience. In this art it is showing a sad or depressed. Not all human experience is a good experience. People every day are unhappy and depressed.
This image shows that humans are building cities and destroying the one thing that is allowing us to live. Tree's take out CO2 and produce oxygen which is what humans need to live. CO2 is also causing global warming which is bad. Instead of planting more tree's seems logical but instead we are cutting them down.
Something new can be modern, clean, fresh, or even innovative. I took the innovative route: making an iPhone and a swegway. Theses are technologies that are futuristic that are becoming reality.. There are always new things in our world today but there is even more to come in our future
There are many types of line. Straight , curved, or even loopy. I learned that line can mean many things and that line can't be defined as one thing. This drawing use two types of line, straight and curved. I like how the tree is connected to the city. The two are very different yet there are still together in a way.
I learned that incorporating symbolize into a drawing is hard because making the two objects flow is difficult. I used the bald eagle in my drawing because it is the national bird of the Untied States of America. The bird symbolizes the flag therefore i made made the American flag the wing of the eagle.
Using perspective you can manipulate your mind into thinking that something is either small or larger than it actually is. In is photo we made it seem as is there were too small people sitting on the cow when really we were much farther behind it at the same level. It was difficult to communicate with each other to line the picture up correctly to make the optical illusion.
